About Me

When it comes to online safety and security - people are my priority.

I am an experienced Military & Police leader with proven staff motivation and well-being skills. Specialist consultancy in Cyber Security and Risk Management, with particular focus on Executive Leadership and Strategic Planning.

I have successfully devised and delivered the national online safety, prevention and resilience strategy for Police Scotland and ensured this was aligned to the organisational objectives and operations. I held a range of roles within the force including Strategic Advisor to the Scottish Government, Police Scotland Lead and delivered bespoke briefings to members of the Scottish Parliament as well as managing a range of Cyber Security projects throughout my career.

Cyber Essentials is a Government-backed, industry supported foundation for basic cyber security hygiene.  The Scheme has been carefully designed to guide organisations of any size in protecting themselves against cyber threats. The scheme offers two levels of certification, Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus with a robust Assurance Framework providing an independent validation.
